She was born on 18 August 1945 in Stryi, Lviv region, where she received her secondary education and graduated from the music school.

-From 1963 to 1968 she studied at the Ivan Franko Drohobych Pedagogical Institute, Faculty of Music and Pedagogy, where she specialised as a teacher of music and singing at a secondary school and a teacher of vocal performance at a pedagogical college.

Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Methods of Music Education, Singing and Conducting; vocalist at the Vasyl Stefanyk Educational and Research Institute of Arts;

-1995 – 27 February – defended her PhD thesis: ‘Vocal Training of the Future Music Teacher as a Basis for Improving Pedagogical Excellence’ in the speciality 13.00.01 – “Theory and History of Pedagogy”. The defence took place at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv at the Department of Pedagogy of Higher and Secondary Schools (Kyiv). Diploma of Candidate of Sciences: book no. 007468;

-In 1997 she was awarded the title of associate professor: Certificate of Associate Professor of the DC AR № 005014 (by the decision of the Academic Council of the Precarpathian University of 18 February, protocol № 6)

– 1989 – awarded: Medal ‘Veteran of Labour’ (1989)

-2016 – awarded the Medal ‘For Merit to the University’

has numerous letters of thanks and certificates from local departments of education, science and culture and the regional administration;

– teaches training courses: ‘Speciality’ (Solo and chamber singing) and “Fundamentals of vocal and practical performance”;

– supervises master’s and bachelor’s theses of graduate students;

– developed and taught lecture and practical courses for a long time: ‘Fundamentals of Vocal Mastery’, “Methods of Teaching Vocal Disciplines”, special courses: ‘Methods of Teaching Vocal at Higher Education Institutions’, “Methods of Teaching Professional Disciplines” (in the university’s electronic database).

From 1976 to 1986, she directed the vocal ensemble of the student folk vocal and choreographic ensemble ‘Verkhovynka’ – winner of national and international festivals and competitions (artistic director B. Stasko).

For a long time, she successfully combined teaching and performing activities, in particular, as a participant and teacher-consultant of the youth choir of the Ministry of Culture ‘Elegy’ (directors L. Serhaniuk and Y. Serhaniuk), winner of all-Ukrainian and international competitions and festivals.
