Iryna Novosyadla

NOVOSYADLA Iryna Stepanivna – Candidate of Arts, Associate Professor of the Department of Methods of Music Education and Conducting. She defended her PhD thesis on ‘Modern Trends in the Formation of the Ukrainian Piano Repertoire for Children (late twentieth – early twenty-first century)’ (2011). Her research interests include Ukrainian musical art, popularisation of piano music by Ukrainian composers. She has developed a course of lectures and practical classes on the History of the Formation of the Ukrainian Piano Pedagogical Repertoire and Methods of Teaching Piano in Higher Education Institutions. She is the author of 30 scientific publications, 3 teaching aids, and a participant in national and international scientific and practical conferences. Together with the students of her class, she organises and conducts lectures and concerts in music educational institutions of the region and for the city’s public.
